It appears that the retired person is in a predicament where their medications exceed the pension and retirement monies they earned as working individuals. Why are medicaid recipients who have never contributed to society receiving these medications free of cost when the hard working individuals are going without their meds due to cost??

  4. Mellee says

Kristen, people like you make me so mad!!! How do you know that people on medicaid never did or do anything in their lives or contributed to society? I worked my butt off, 80 hour weeks for years, Now I am ill and I cant work, nor can I afford insurance for my family. Medicaid is my only choice right now!!! How abt children on aid? They havent contributed cause they cant!! Think before you type!! SMDH

My insurance does not cover the Humalog Pen, and they want me to use the syringes instead. I have numbness due to my diabetes, so I am unable to use the syringes. This is a new insurance, and since it’s not covered it will cause me around $530 retail price. Can you please help me? My number is 407-247-5895.

    Thank You

The information about the free trial coupon being One (1) voucher per patient per 12 month period across all Humalog programs, is incorrect. I wasted 27 minutes on hold only to be told the voucher is only valid 1 time. This came directly from the people at Humalog. I called the “For assistance call 1-800-510-4836.” and was transfered to Humalog @ 1-866-923-1953. They told me we had used a voucher in August of 2014 and therefore we are not eligible to receive another one.
