I was told at Walgreen’s that I could not use the coupon because of my dose, I take 2 pills instead of 1 each day.
    Please advise, Ben

    • John Stanton says

Im having the same problem! Can anyone advise if there is a prescription for 60 caps a month?

    • Amy says

      Ben,
I take two Vyvance capsules each day also. I just got health insurance, so I have to pay just $30 for the first 30 capsules, and then I use this Vyvance coupon for about $30 off the second 30 Vyvance capsules.
The coupon is a bit misleading since only those with health insurance get to pay just $30 for 30 capsules, but if you don’t have health insurance, the coupons does give you about $30 off…at least it makes it a little bit cheaper…hope this helps. Amy

STOP advertising you have a link for a FREE TRIAL of Vyvanse when you know that no such offer exists. And, after people click on the link you provide, which, as you already know, gives only a pay no more than $30 coupon and not the FREE TRIAL , and then tell you that they are still unable to find the free trial offer, DO NOT reply by again giving them that same useless link and/the link you are referring people to, which only registers their savings card for the pay no more than $30 offer, and doesn’t apply to any FREE TRIAL. If you have information on and/or have a legit and direct link to the FREE TRIAL offer, then give it up. Otherwise, revoke your claim that you have access to the VYVANSE FREE TRIAL information. If you actually do have valid information, then I suggest you do some research so you can fine-tune the information you share. Maybe try to access the link yourself to verify if it actually works, or doesn’t, and then figure out whether or not you need to delete your claim to having a valid link to a valid FREE TRIAL offer. I’m going to give you a little while, and then I’m going to follow-up on this. Also, where did the above-mumbo jumbo lingo that was unprofessionally written under the Vyvanse Coupon heading come from? Maybe you should review that, as well.

Why is this exzempt for state employees? My husband works for the state of Washington, we are insured thru the state, which we pay premiums for, yet we can’t use this discount coupon. It’s like it’s meant to punish people who are on government assisted programs, but what about people who get their insurance thru the state by working for it, but can’t afford the copy for the meds??? Could really use some help here….

    • Tammy says

This is to everyone! I have worked for a retail pharmacy since 2003, and I must admit it is truly not the same. Certain pharmacies do not want or try to help you, but ive always been the person to do the opposite! If I can’t afford some of the meds working in a pharmacy then I know some customers cant either. Just remember just about ALL BRAND name drugs you can find a manufacturer coupon online, you just have to look. There is always something that person behind that counter can do! If I have a customer with no insurance and they have to pay for a med I know they can pay 4$ for or maybe its lower somewhere else well im going to tell them!! Its supposed to be about the customers NOT not the district manager or supervisors bonuses! Its all about numbers and money. And you can’t be upset with the technician they are just doing as they are told, or they will lose there job. As far as government funded Insurance or medicare D im sorry that you can’t use a coupon with your insurance (but you can use it without) its always been that way not why because some stuff is a still expensive. Especially the elderly just because they have med D they have to pay higher prices than the ppl with regular ins. And we all knw that cant afford it. The only ppl that doesn’t pay or their copay is no higher than $3 is MEDICAID. Obama care yeah it may be good for some but in all honesty its BULLSHIT its Ludacris what the Elderly have to pay, so what you think is bad its usually worse for someone else.

      • Madea says

AMEN!! I also worked for a corporate pharmacy for 10 years and I know exactly what you’re saying. I’ve now gone back to independent and it just makes me feel so much better at the end of the day knowing I can actually help someone in need for their expensive meds that are so over priced at retails and not be on a corporate trial the next day for trying to help a customer but in reality it just means you’re taking money out of the store managers and pharmacy district managers big bonus by trying to help a customer that can’t afford expensive meds. THANKS TO OBAMA!! Got to love that failure to our health system because GOD knows it really needed more help at failing but it now is a complete disaster!! All the discount coupons etc etc only work if you get paid with rotten peanuts but for the people that make a few dollars over their budget makes too much to qualify but they sure don’t consider the fact we have to pay taxes and for our crappy insurance that does not cover anything and other bills and yet we apparently are just wealthy and rich so we can shuck out $267.00 a mth for a rx that has no generic yet but bc of a few studies a few people might have lost a few lbs this drug is now for binge eating instead of it’s initial use it was made for and now ins won’t recognize it bc it’s for wt loss not ADHD but they claim it’s to help save $$ for us by covering cheaper drugs and cut the costs of healthcare but in reality we are just paying for something we can’t even get a use from!! It’s just a backwards system all the way around and if course the pharmacy people always get the blame because it’s our fault!!!

  8. Wanda Steinbrecher says

I am VERY upset with the offer of paying no more than $30 for my Vyvanse prescription! I have been on this medication for quite a while. I carried the insurance then lost my job a couple months ago so we had to go on my husband’s insurance but he retired as of yesterday, so we lost our insurance. I went to fill it today and was told it would cost $174 because I don’t have insurance now! I thought that it would cost more that $30! Now I have to go without a much needed medication because I sure cannot/will not pay that price. I feel that I was misled here and I think it is horrible.

    • Aldo says

Don’t feel bad Wanda. I DO have insurance (very expensive) Blue Cross Blue Shield of TN and I still have to pay $170 and that’s using the very misleading “pay nor more than than $30” for your Vyvanse coupon (for up to $90) when these pills are price gouged at $230 plus. Why don’t they just advertise a coupon for $60 off and cut the word salad out? My insurance has a $2700 deductible yet it covers garbage medication such as Topamax without even a copay. I don’t understand how this works but I do know the FDA and Big Pharma treat amphetamines like a carrot on the end of a LONG stick and with hold them from the people who need them MOST (overweight people!). They LIE and say these drugs do not help with weight loss yet have no problem giving speed strong enough for a Clydesdale horse to FIVE YEAR OLDS or other people who fake ADD/ADHD so they can get some good speed. This stuff is nothing but the ORIGINAL PHENTERMINE from 20-30 years ago. They reformulated the phentermine so that is weak, worthless garbage, just enough to keep people coming back to spend more $$ because they took away the good diet pills and the over the counter herbal ephedra that was way better than todays phentermine and reassigned amphetamines for their designer disease called ADD or whatever. Maybe their is a real disorder along those lines but I’m certain that it’s 99% bullshit and the speed is to keep children mentally controlled so that they will be good slaves of the educational (mind control) system we are forced to live in. They fill our food with all manner of ungodly crap such as aborted fetus livers (Senomyx) that they label as “natural flavoring” and aspartame, high fructose corn syrup, msg, etc while selling nutritionally deplete genetically modified (with spider and rat dna) fruit and vegetables that cause cancer and make us all FAT and stupid so that they can CONTROL US and keep us coming back sick for more of their toxic Pharmakia drugs. Makes me so mad I wish everyone would wake up to what these evil bastards are doing and string them all up to the nearest bridge/lamp post like they deserve!

    • Bryan says

the no more than 30 is dependent on your insurance an it says so on the website, you have to read into things instead of just reading the large print. if your copay is is normally $90 then you will pay $30. basically they will pay the first $60. if your copay is higer then 90 the you will have to pay the uncovered amount. so if you don’t have insurance it’s basically $60 of the retail price. u could try to have them run it with a wholesale coupon, that would take a lot of the top plus the 60 they pay.

  9. Karen B. says

I am pissed that every few months that my daughter’s prescription is renewed, I am told that the coupon has expired and I have to bring in another one. These coupons say the Brand store name CVS, yet CVS denies acceptance of them. I do not understand this.

  10. Nancy says

I need a coupon for the 60 mg. of Vyvanse. I had one but was told it has run out.
Not sure where to apply again. Could you please help!

  11. Gayle says

Is there a new coupon for 2016? With a very high deductible ($5000+) and 2 family members taking this drug at $230+ each/month any and all discounts are appreciated.

  12. Delena Bobadilla says

Fantastic ideas ! I learned a lot from the analysis . Does someone know if my business would be able to acquire a template a form copy to fill in ?

  13. Amanda Morrison says

I had a card that I used that just expired in July, where I paid only $15 for the copay. Now all I can find is $30 copay coupons. Why did it go up? I can’t afford for it to double and still get the other meds for everyone else in the family.

  14. Madea says

Something needs to be done to help cover costs of high deductibles or for insurance plans that do not cover a Epi-Pen for goodness sake this is a life or death medication for emergencies and yet insurance won’t cover and the coupon cards still over price this drug. I guess if you die from anaphylaxis you don’t have to worry about all this nonsense about covered meds or a coupon that doesn’t really help any at all. Hmm a win win situation.

    • Karla T says

I work for a doctor’s office, doing the medication refill and prior Authorizations. Call member’s services on the back of your insurance card, there is usually a couple of the type (brand/manufacture ) of the EpiPen that is covered under your plan. A couple examples of other brands are (Auvi-Q and Adrena Click) . you might even ask the pharmacy to look and see if your plan covers either one of those? Hope that help. Karla

  15. Jennifer Hollon says

I have a question. The information above states there is an Rx savings card along with the coupon but the only link I can find says the site is not safe is there another link to go to? Because honestly the $30 savings isn’t going to help me a lot when my son’s rx is $270/month. Any further assistance is appreciated

  16. Tiffany Gates says

What can you do when your physician prescribes Vyvanse for you and you take the script to the pharmacy and you are told that it needs prior authorization and your physicians office will not take care of this after several phone calls. This is very upsetting because if the doctor prescribed it then it is his /her duty to make sure that all patients are taken care of. I made my $50.00 copay for this doctor however, I can’t get the medication that she ordered, it appears that she is only out to get paid. Seems like I will have to start this process all over again with a different provider I hope and pray that this office doesn’t do this all the time they are playing with a person physical and mental health…RUDE

  17. Matt says

For those interested, the 30 day trial coupons are ONLY available from your doctor. There won’t be a website to get 30 days free. However, I did just get confirmation today that my doctor has the 30 day trial coupons and I will be picking it up tomorrow.

  18. Dana says

I cannot get the coupon! When I put in my information and click submit it tells me that the page is unavailable. I need to get my medication asap and this coupon is such a lifesaver. Any other way to get coupon?

  19. Hal Anderson says

The coupon is essentially worthless. I talked with four pharmacist who acknowledged that they’d never seen a single case of anyone getting this medicine anywhere near $30.

Here’s how this works. This drug is typically taken by people with commercial insurance or no drug coverage (as most Medicare-aged people don’t need it).

And as the drug maker (Takeda) and most people on here know, the great majority of us now have what’s called a high deductible insurance plan…… meaning your insurance covers nothing but an annual physical unless you’ve had over several thousand dollars of medical expenses in a calendar year. So in most years, a relatively healthy person/family is on their on. Your copay for drugs, in this situation, never kicks in. That means prepare to pay the full list price for Vyvanse minus a few $$$. Expect to pay $200 – $300 for 30 pills, regardless of dosage strength. Don’t obsess over the coupon. The pharmacist can give you that same small discount without it. And buying from Canada is not an option because of how this drug is classified.

I have 2 kids who really need the medicine and for them it’s superior to ritalin. However, we will not be able to afford it even though we earn a good income. I believe in capitalism and know Takeda has spent huge amounts marketing the drug. I just can’t pay $$500/month (for 2 prescriptions). I can pay $100 per month per prescription but again, some very sharp pharmacists have confirmed even that is highly unlikely. Takeda is a $16 billion dollar giant with huge gross margins. I’d just be very impressed if they’d sell the drug for less or issue a real coupon.
