The only treatment that kept the fleas off of my dog!
I was horrified to see a lot of fleas on my dog’s back. I first tried a couple of products from the store and they did not keep the fleas from biting him. I felt terrible for my poor dog so I went to a pet supply store and bought a flea dip product they assured me would work and it didn’t. The veterinarian told me that Comfortis might work and so far it has been a miracle product! I’m glad to see my dog happy and healthy again.
Comfortis is a long-term treatment so be prepared to administer it frequently. At first I mistakenly gave it to my dog when he had not eaten yet and he threw up and wasted the medicine. Always make sure your pet eats while taking the medicine. I found that it was best to mix it with water and then hide it in canned dog food. My dog had no problems taking it that way. You should also get your home treated as well to get rid of possible flea eggs or larvae. The best flea treatment product I have used!

Elanco makes it as difficult as possible to receive your rebates. I called 1-800-983-9993 and talked with a chick named Angie. No downloadable form to fill out and mail. The online submission does not work half the time. It’s nothing but a scam. In the past, I sent them EXACTLY what they asked for. They return everything saying they need something else. OR, they promise the rebate within a certain amount of time. I have had to call and call to inquire the reason I have not received my rebate after months. They tell me “it must have fallen in the cracks”. Then I finally get a rebate check. The whole point is they make it as difficult as possible for you to obtain your rebate, something they promised. If Elanco does not want to deal with it, then stop offering the rebates! Oh, then that might slow sales and they certainly would not want that. Find another product! It’s not worth the hassle. Go with another company that will appreciate your business.
If I purchase Comfortis online, does the $25 rebate for 12 doses still apply? Can the 12 doses be for different size dogs?
